One of my favorite things we’re doing with Rhys is stamping his footprints. Each month, we brush non-toxic teal tempura paint on his soles and toes, them press them onto heavy art paper. Ramsey went Baller Art to pick up paint, and found tiny 2×3” canvases and easels. They’re pretty much the most adorable things I’ve ever seen with Rhys’s footprint on them. So far we’ve done two canvases: one at 1 week, and one at 4 months.
The first couple months’ prints didn’t look too different from one another, but now, as he’s six months old, his growth is easier to see. (And harder to ignore!) Sooner than I am ready to admit, these little feet will be able to walk… But, all in good time. Not yet, my little Rhys. Not yet.
