It is 8:15am and as I sip my industrial strength coffee from LAMill, I am drooling over dessert. Early morning emails contained a flyer from the bakery, Früute in West Hollywood. I haven’t been yet, but am dying to sample their array of treats. I’d be thrilled to find a box of them waiting for me on Mother’s Day.
Früute creates beautiful little tarts with some of the most unique flavors I’ve ever seen. Sure, they offer tiramisu, three berries, and mango, but black pepper, orange wasabi, and lychee raspberry cheesecake also grace their list.
