[S]ummer calls for all sorts of outings: art museums, amusement parks, zoo visits, road trips. And when you’re toting a two-year-old, it’s imperative to have a stroller that is compact for crowded public spaces, sturdy enough to withstand the occasional rugged terrain, comfortable enough for a mid-afternoon nap, and easy to transport from point A to point B. The Quinny Moodd stroller meets these expectations and more.
The Quinny is the third stroller I’ve had since my son was born, and it is by far my favorite. At a glance, it looks like something that arrived from the future with its sleek, streamlined design. With such simple assembly, I had the stroller from box to sidewalk in fifteen minutes. The Moodd folds closed smoothly, pops open with the push of a button, and is light enough to load in and out of the car with ease. Its frame is incredibly lightweight, the wheels swivel seamlessly. And this stroller turns on a dime, effortlessly maneuverable between cafe tables and down shop aisles–or through shoe stores, as my son would have it.
With all the well-designed features the Quinny boasts, it’s safe to say my personal favorite is the t-shaped handlebar. My son grips it tightly with his tiny hands, and growls his best motorcycle impression as we roll. “Vrrrrooooom!” Makes me smile every time.
