Q: What are some of the biggest mistakes you see golfers make?
Tiger Woods: When it comes to a good round, I believe I have to stay with it. I don’t want to get distracted or do something else to distract me. I play a shot a time, and sometimes you just have to get it down on the ground. But I also think it’s not about being able to just come back to the course after a bad round. You really have to think about the game, and really think about the big picture. When you think about the big picture, the only time you want to get out of the swing is when you have no place to go. And you have to keep playing as hard as you can and keep pushing it until you can’t get it.
“The only time you want to get out of the game, in my opinion, is when you have to sit out for more than two days. If you’re playing with someone, you might just walk away, because you’ve got to keep playing. “The only time you’re going to have to sit out, or miss a game, is when you’re injured.” The Eagles have been outscored by the Giants 37-12 in the three games in which Wentz has been benched. But the quarterback has made it clear that he isn’t worried about his position.
“I love playing quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles,” Wentz said Monday. “I think it’s a great position. You know, you’re out there running the ball, you’re making the right reads and you’re making your throws. That’s what I love about it.” When the Giants game wrapped up in October, Wentz had a chance to sit out and be ready for the Eagles’ Thanksgiving Day game against the New York Jets.
